Moray Province Curling – Home Ice Rinks: Elgin Leisure Centre & Inverness Ice Centre

Try Curling Group 1

Group 1:- first as it will be the shortest and more to the point:-

Coaching and administrative volunteers: – In the sport of curling nothing happens without volunteers for all aspects of the game from coaching, administration, publicity, finance and fundraising,

That is just a short summary of what is required at Province level and in the Moray Province Curling Development Group.

All those who curl or have curled in the past know in their heart of hearts that this is the case “no volunteers no curling”, please all you curlers / ex curlers reconsider what you can do for the sport that I am sure you had so much from, “Give something back” to the sport that you so enjoy/enjoyed don’t leave it to those already involved there is room for you at whatever level you feel confident with.

Comprehensive training will be given to all who volunteer and at the same time you will become a part of a team that works together to promote and secure the sport and make it available to others to enjoy. Incidentally all those that are involved enjoy their involvement with the group and there are numerous long term volunteers.

Please contact either the Secretary of the Province or the Secretary of the Development Group, you will be made very welcome and gain a tremendous level of satisfaction, you will secure the sport for years to come. (Contacts available under About Us) on the main menu) as a development group we want to not only “survive” but “thrive”! All curlers can help with this objective by volunteering some time to a level that suits each individual.
