Moray Province Curling – Home Ice Rinks: Elgin Leisure Centre & Inverness Ice Centre

Try Curling Group 2

Those who have never curled before or those who wish to improve or have a problem with their delivery.

Now this is a different issue where we have promote the sport in more detail to those who have never curled before but have seen it on television or are looking for a winter sport from September through to the end of March, much detail will be given on each heading however should anyone think a section should have more detail please ask.

The Development Group welcomes and caters for all ages and skill levels, from basic beginners to the experienced curler at various levels.

The best way for brand new curlers to acquaint themselves with the sport and get started with a club is to attend our “Learn to Curl” sessions, held throughout the season; qualified coaches will guide attendees through all aspects of the sport, so that everyone will have a good understanding of the rules, tactics, etiquette and techniques used in curling.

We are happy; however, to have any individual contact us and come and give curling a try at any of our regular scheduled open curling sessions by previous arrangements.
