The women’s Champions will earn the right to represent Scotland at the World Curling Championships in Beijing, China from 18th – 26th March.
Men second but by no means least we have Ally Fraser who curls out of Inverness Ice Centre. Ali has gained a lot of experience over the years and will be no means phased by the occasion having won silver in the World Junior curling Championships.
Ally rink is made up of Ruairidh Greenwood, Calumn Greenwood and Angus Dowel. And they qualified by winning The Forfar Open event earlier this season against strong opposition.
Men’s Champions will earn the right to wear the blue of Scotland at the Ford World Men’s Curling Championship in Edmonton, Canada from 1st – 9th April.
Same location as the ladies for results and line scores at Perth
You can see Ally and his rink in action again in a game recorded at Curling Night in America which was filmed in December 2016 in Duluth, Minnesota. This game will be shown USA v Scotland (Men) – Friday 17 March 2017, 21:00.
Good luck To Ally and his rink this week he is a great ambassador for North Curling and the sport in general.

The other male curler involved in Perth this week is Blair Fraser From Inverness Ice Centre
Blair has been on the competitive scene for a number of years and now plays third in a rink skipped by Grant Hardie from Dumfries.
Blair is the Son of Moray Province vice President Mark and Grandson of the late Bill Fraser, need i say more with a pedigree like that, but i better mention he has a silver in World Junior Championships and a silver from The European Olympic winter Festival.
Good luck to all
