History
A Quaich was presented to Bill Nicol by Moray when being awarded Honorary Membership of the Province.
In recognition of his contribution to curling, both as its President and latterly as its Secretary for many years.
Not wishing to see the Quaich gather dust on the sideboard, and characteristic of his love of the game.
He offered it back to the Province to be competed for annually by the winners of the East and West Division 1. To be played alternately Inverness / Elgin.
