Moray Province and in particular Nairn Curling Club have lost one of its well-known curlers in “Graham Kerr” who passed away at his home on Friday 26th August 2016.

Graham will be sadly missed by Wilma, Larry, and Brother David and their families, all well known to the curling fraternity,

Graham was a devoted family man and a gentleman who found time to do whatever he was doing in a professional and dedicated way, as a Civil Engineer in his working capacity, a curling administrator for Nairn Curling club and the Moray Province and of course playing the sport of curling.
His curling skills were unquestionable, competitive but sociable, probably with his name on all Nairn Curling club trophies and certainly many times on the Moray Province Winner’s Boards either with his own name as skip or in his early years when he served his curling apprenticeship with the late Eric Brown of the Nairn Curling Club.

Graham curled against many overseas rinks playing visiting touring teams in particular from America and Canada, Graham also played for many years in the Highland Week of International curlers making many friends worldwide who today will be very sad at hearing of his passing.

The Funeral service is at Nairn Old Parish Church on Monday 5th September at 12:30pm thereafter to Inverness Crematorium. All friends respectfully invited. Inverness
