Two rinks qualified from Moray Province one from Nairn Academy the other Elgin Academy

I was lucky enough to be with the Elgin Academy rink at the RCCC School Championship at Murrayfield on Friday and Saturday. The team played really well and were a real pleasure to be with. They represented Moray Junior Curling Club, their school and their families in the manner wonderfully well and I know that the younger members of the rink learned lots (perhaps their parents did too). It will be sad to loose Eilidh and Josh from Elgin Academy but we will see them go on to better and greater things in the curling world, I am sure. Their departure opens opportunities to others!
