The attached are the dates announced by Area 10 for this coming season bonspiels.
At the Area Ten A.G.M on the 12th June 2013 there were requests from the floor for a rethink on the format of these bonspiels.
The Executive stated this was already under discussion, Gordon Kennedy had positive ideas how ever the thoughts of the executive were not disclosed how ever there was a new Match Secretary / Treasurer Michael Jack proposed and seconded who if anything like his father and brother will handle the administration of Area 10 bonspiels in a very competent and efficient manner given the support of the clubs and the senior and Junior Representatives.
In Ten years as a rep from Moray Province to Ten Area and a further 17 years as treasurer I have never experienced the Area at such an all time low over this last puckle years.
Good luck to those in post now “The only way is up” and it would be great to see the Area clubs supporting any effort they make to improve the situation.
Area 10 Report
Moray Province both East and West, along with Inverness Province continue to be main supporters of Area 10 bonspiels. Entries would have been on an exact par with last year had it not been for a last minute call off at the last bonspiel
