Game of Two Half’s
In the final of the Gammack Bell curling Mixed Knockout, Howard Anstruther a previous winner in 2007,defeated the current holder, Andy Cameron in a true ” game of two half’s”.
Cameron was 4-0 up after the opening two ends, but thereafter,never troubled the scoreboard.
Howard’s team of Ann Munro, Lambert Munro and Rhona Cameron scored at each of the next five ends, to give the Forres rink a convincing 9-4 win over a strong Cameron four.
